Subscription Fees

To keep things simple and fair, we have divided all businesses and services into just two billing groups for the purpose of subscription fee. This grouping is based on the general earning potential of each business or service category. This classification is not intended to influence visibility or priority in search results.

Group 'A' includes individuals or businesses with relatively lower income potential. For them, we have set a fee that is significantly below the average market rate, intentionally affordable and accessible.

Group 'B' includes those with mid to higher earning capacity. Even here, our charges remain well below prevailing professional or standard market rates. Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of scale, can participate meaningfully without financial burden.

Important: Subscription Requirement

To ensure fairness, authenticity, and high-quality results for our users, only businesses with a valid and active subscription are displayed in search results on DesiUstad.

If a business subscription has expired, been suspended, or is inactive, the business profile will not be visible in search listings until the subscription is renewed.

By requiring an active subscription, we maintain a trusted directory where every listed business is verified, committed, and up to date. This policy helps customers find reliable service providers and ensures businesses gain genuine visibility when they choose to stay active in our network.

No Commission. No Packages. No Paid Promotions.

• We do not sell or share leads.
• We do not offer paid tags or badges.:
  We do not mark businesses as “verified,” “top-rated,” or “premium” ; paid or unpaid.
• We have intentionally chosen not to use any customer rating system.:
  Whether paid or free, we believe many rating systems are not fair or honest.
• We do not charge any commission on your deals.:
  If a customer contacts a business and they work together, we do not take a cut from anyone.
• We do not make promotional calls or messages.:
  You will not get calls from us trying to sell you packages or push any services.
• We do not sell or share customers' data with businesses.:
  We expect customers should choose and make direct contact with businesses. End-users' information stays private. We do not send or sell your data to any business.
• We do not run auctions or pay-to-respond models.:
  Businesses like freelancing or professionals do not have to bid or pay to talk to you. Every listed business can reply freely.
• We do not push or follow vendors to buy packages.:
  We respect every business, big or small; and we do not pressure anyone to spend money on promotions.
• We do not flood users with notifications.:
  You will only hear from us if it is necessary. No spam, no unnecessary alerts.
• We do not run affiliate or partner schemes to promote specific vendors.:
  We stay neutral. We do not favor any business based on outside deals.

** Foot_note : In the future, we may introduce position-based ranking fees. This will not affect the current entire fee structure. Any additional charges will be applied only for ranking positions, and we will clearly display this on the front panel next to the business name, stating: “This business has paid for a ranking position.”

Understanding the Profile Section

The Profile section is divided into two parts:

• Personal Details - This includes your (or the owner's) basic personal information.
• Business Portfolios - This section is for adding details about the businesses or services you offer.

For individual service providers, much of the information like contact number, email, and address may be the same in both sections. However, we still recommend entering it in both places for better clarity and visibility.

Add Multiple Business Portfolios:
If you manage more than one business or service, you can create multiple portfolios under the same account, one for each business. There is no limit; add as many as you need.
We strongly suggest filling out all fields, especially the 'Description', so that potential customers can get the most complete and helpful information about you.

Subscription & Media Management:
Within each Business Portfolio, you can:
• Check & modify your subscription status.
• View, add, or edit photos related to your business

Profile Update Modes:
Users can choose between Simple Mode and Detailed Mode when updating or adding their business Portfolio:
• Simple Mode: Quickly update essential information such as name, contact details, and basic preferences. Ideal for users who want a fast, streamlined experience.
• Detailed Mode: Allows editing of complete profile information, including business details, social links, documents, and other advanced settings. Best for users who want full control over their profile.
