Our Bidding System is designed on the same values described in our About Us page: fairness, simplicity, and equal opportunity for every business. This is not a conventional auction platform or a wallet based marketplace. This is a pure, transparent, pay as-you-use ecosystem where you only pay for posting or bidding, and all real world transactions happen directly between buyer and seller.

Our bidding system is often compared to traditional tendering marketplaces, job-posting platforms, and service marketplaces. But at DesiUstad, we operate differently. We proudly call our model an “Open Digital Mandi”; a transparent and simplified marketplace where businesses and customers interact freely without unnecessary fees or complex pricing structures.

Unlike other platforms:

• We do NOT charge businesses per enquiry or per lead.
• We do NOT take any percentage or commission on project value.
• We do NOT divide our plans into basic, professional, or enterprise tiers.

Instead, we offer a clean and uncomplicated pricing approach:

• Businesses pay only for posting their requirement.
• Customers pay only for placing a bid.

That's it; no hidden fees, no long-term commitments, and no complicated packages.
In the future, we even aim to make bidding free for customers, further strengthening our mission of making our “Open Digital Mandi” accessible to all.

How the Bidding System Works

We have kept the process simple, affordable, and completely transparent; enabling businesses of all sizes to participate without fear of hidden fees or restrictions.

1. No Advance Payment or Wallet System

You don't need to preload money, add deposits, or maintain wallets. You simply pay while posting or bidding. Charges will be declared shortly, and all fees will be inclusive of taxes.

2. Direct Buyer - Seller Transactions

DesiUstad does not enter or mediate any transaction. We do not collect payments or commissions. All deals, settlements, and negotiations happen directly between the buyer and the seller; ensuring complete freedom, trust, and transparency.

3. KYC for Posting Businesses

Sellers or Buyers posting requirements, products or services must complete basic KYC verification to ensure authenticity and accountability in the marketplace.

4. Post Validity Based on Your Need

Each listing is valid for multiples of 10 days, giving you control over visibility and duration.

What Makes Our Bidding System Different

You keep 100% of what you earn. There are no referral charges, no brokerage fees, no per-chat or per-lead costs, no wallet dependencies, or revenue-sharing models.
